    Position Summary:

    The Automotive Body Shop Estimator/Administrator is the primary point of contact with customers requiring estimates for vehicle repairs. The Estimator is responsible for estimating parts and labour requirements and costs for repairs. The incumbent examines the extent of damages on vehicles and provides estimates to customers while ensuring superior customer service.     • Perform estimates for Collision and Paint repair for all brands of vehicles. Knowledge of Mitchell and/or Audatex Estimating is required.
    • Follow up with Insurance companies for claim related correspondence.
    • Responsible for parts ordering and sublet repair tasks.
    • Assist with workshop flow and estimated cycle time for completion of repairs.
    • Follow up with customer or Insurance partners for additional repairs.
    • Maintain accurate documentation and obtain customer signatures as required.
    • Oversee final repairs for appearance and quality of work.
    • Close out transactions and final invoicing.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    • Completion of a motor vehicle body repair apprenticeship program or a combination of over 3 years of work experience in the motor vehicle body repair trade.
    • 3 years of experience in automotive body shop estimating.
    • Possess a valid drivers license.
    • Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse work environment.
    • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
    • Able to work well under pressure. Positive team attitude.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
    • Knowledge of computer programs, MS Office, etc.

    Duties:

    • Inspect damage vehicles and initialize a repair plan process
    • Dismantle and repair vehicles as per industry guidelines and standards of Bramgate Collision Centre
    • Possess the ability to repair body panels with rust and dent repairs
    • Remove, repair or replace interior trim, vehicle accessories and some electrical components
    • Measure, cut and replace sectioned body panels as required
    • Assess and repair structural damage of vehicles with the use of frame equipment

    Position Summary:

    The Receptionist is responsible for a wide range of clerical and administrative duties for the entire dealership. Duties of this position include, but are not limited to, answering the telephone and emails, greeting and supporting customers with all needs, and scheduling service and maintenance appointments. Preparation of the daily cash/cheque deposit and assistance with the daily cash reconciliation is also a critical function. The incumbent requires previous retail experience - working in a dealership setting is preferred.

    The Warranty Administrator, under the direction of the Service Manager is responsible for all aspects of warranty administration, including claim submission, the reconciliation of accounts, and maximizing claim returns at Audi Brampton. The Warranty Administrator will address concerns and serve as a liaison between Service Advisors, Audi, manufacturers and parts suppliers. The Warranty Administrator’s responsibilities include data entry, account management, collecting and presenting information for auditing purposes, and submitting requests for information to manufacturers and suppliers.

    Duties:

    • Address all customer issues with Advisors
    • Refer customer issues to Service Manager when necessary
    • Escalate warranty claims that require manufacturer authorization
    • Forward warranty claims for defective parts to the manufacturer
    • Follow-up and resubmit unpaid claims returned by the manufacturer
    • Interpret failure reports and compose claim reports for submission to the manufacturer’s warranty processing centre
    • File and retain warranty service records by the manufacturer
    • Complete claim forms, code failures, and list out materials as required by different manufacturers
    • Submit leasing and rental warranty claims by inputting accurate and complete information using the manufacturer’s systems and processes
    • Close work orders by applying charges to manufacturers or customers
    • Write warranty claims and goodwill policy requests according to manufacturer’s guidelines
    • Respond to requests for additional information from manufacturers in a timely manner
    • Analyze rejected claims and make recommendations to pursue treatment
    • Communicate warranty repair processes to workshop coordinators, supervisors, and technicians
    • Keep warranty schedules up to date
    • Complete bi-weekly Technician’s pay hours for payroll
    • Compile and track performance indicators related to warranty usage and claims
    • Maintain records for auditing purposes
    • Oversee the proper handling of warranty parts to be returned or discarded
    • Other duties as required

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or post-secondary education
    • Trade certificate in a related field is preferred
    • 2-5 years of work experience in the automotive industry or an equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Familiarity with automotive terminology is an asset
    • Computer literate. Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Well-developed organization and planning skills
    • Good negotiating skills
    • Proven ability to work in a team
    • Customer service orientation
