The Audi Q4 e-tron, responsible for a noteworthy 51.2% growth in Audi's electric delivery during the first half of 2023, is gearing up for 2024 with a series of substantial upgrades. These encompass improved suspension, a refined driving experience, distinctive acoustics, and a richer set of standard equipment.

Battery & Charging

Central to the Q4 e-tron's prowess is its 77 kWh battery. Thanks to advanced cell chemistry, it can recharge from 10-80% in approximately 28 minutes under optimal conditions. Smart charging systems, including the e-tron route planner, prioritize high-performance stations with fast chargers, adjusting battery conditions to optimize charging efficiency.

Performance & Efficiency

The vehicle's reimagined permanently excited synchronous motor on the rear axle is designed for heightened efficiency and power across all models. The innovative electric motor utilizes a sophisticated thermal management system, employing strategic oil distribution and cooling techniques.

Suspension & Handling

Reflecting Audi's commitment to dynamic performance, the 2024 Q4 e-tron’s re-tuned suspension assures more stability, comfort, and agility. Every suspension iteration is precisely adjusted for harmonious damping and sharper steering.

Advanced Driver Assistance

An optional feature in the 2024 update includes assisted lane changes, available with adaptive cruise assist. This innovative system actively supports the driver, offering visual prompts and leveraging rear radar data for safety.

Equipment & Design

The 2024 Audi Q4 e-tron boasts a richer level of standard equipment, such as the Audi MMI navigation plus and the digital 10.25-inch Audi virtual cockpit. Furthermore, the luggage compartment lid has been mechanized for convenience, and a new S line edition offers added customization options.

Unique Acoustics

An optional "character sound" graces the Q4 e-tron with a distinct acoustic signature. This digitally-generated sound varies with speed and load, ensuring the vehicle remains audible at lower speeds for enhanced safety.

Production Scope

Responding to heightened demand for the new Q4 e-tron, production will expand to Audi's carbon-neutral Brussels site by year-end. This move aligns with Audi’s broader vision of fully electrifying its production line by decade’s end, with a goal for net carbon-neutral production by 2025.
